Grand Hôtel
Grand Hôtel is a five-star landmark hotel in central Stockholm, overlooking the Royal Palace and Gamla Stan from its waterfront position. Open since 1874, it offers a wide range of rooms and suites, several restaurants and bars including Mathias Dahlgren's acclaimed dining rooms, and a spa and fitness club.
Grand Hôtel sits on the Stockholm waterfront, directly facing the Royal Palace and the old town. The hotel offers accommodation across several categories, from Superior and Deluxe Rooms to a collection of individually designed suites. Junior Suites include a separate sitting area and king-size bed, while Executive and Superior Suites offer more generous proportions with distinct living and sleeping spaces. Among the signature suites, the Flag Suite and Rooftop Suite occupy the top floor with panoramic views and interiors by architect Martin Brudnizki, and can be combined into a single floor of 185 m². The Ingrid Bergman, Wilhelmina Skogh, Bolinder, and Bernadotte Suites each carry a distinct character rooted in Swedish cultural and royal history. At the top of the hotel, the Princess Lilian Suite spans 330 m² with two bedrooms, a private cinema, a spa area with sauna, a kitchen, and a grand piano. All rooms include DUX beds, Etro toiletries, minibar, and complimentary access to the fitness centre.
The hotel is home to several restaurants and bars, including Mathias Dahlgren's Matbaren, the Veranda with its classic smörgåsbord, Grand Soleil with a Riviera-inspired menu, the Cadier Bar, and a dedicated Champagne Bar. Room service is available around the clock. The spa offers Nordic bathing rituals, a range of treatments, private spa suites with waterfront views, and a fully equipped fitness club with personal training. Concierge services, a hotel boutique, and babysitting on request complete the offering, and the hotel's historic event spaces, from the grand Spegelsalen to the Winter Garden, make it one of Stockholm's most complete addresses for any occasion.
