Spa and Massage Experience in Lapland's Wellness Retreats
Spend time in a hotel spa, complete with sauna, hot tub, and relaxation areas, paired with a private massage treatment, even if you are not staying at that hotel. The massage itself can also be arranged as a standalone service, brought directly to your own accommodation.
What to Expect During Your Spa and Massage Experience
A spa visit gives you access to the hotel's facilities for the day, typically a sauna, an outdoor or indoor hot tub, and a relaxation lounge where you can unwind between rounds of heat and rest. This access is available as a day visit, whether or not you are staying at that particular hotel. Changing rooms and lockers are provided, and swimwear is required throughout the spa areas.
Alongside your spa access, a massage treatment can be arranged to suit what you are looking for, from deep muscular relief to a gentle full body relaxation, or a more focused session for the head, neck, and face. Many treatments draw on natural ingredients such as pine, juniper, or other local herbs, along with warm oils or heated stones. Sessions typically last between 45 and 90 minutes.
Treatments and Flexibility
The order and pacing of your spa visit, including whether you begin with the sauna or the massage, depend on availability and your own preference. If you would rather skip the spa altogether, a massage can also be booked on its own, dispatched directly to wherever you are staying, with no hotel or spa visit involved. Add-ons such as a warm herbal compress or a face and scalp massage can often be included on request, and couples or small groups can book side-by-side sessions in either setting.
