Ride through Lapland's snow-covered wilderness on a private winter ATV tour, sharing a vehicle with your companion, with options to add a campfire BBQ or a night version in search of the Northern Lights.

What to Expect during your Snowmobile Safari

After a full safety briefing and equipment check, you set off on a route adapted to your experience level, riding through frosted forest trails and snow-covered terrain that changes with the winter light. You share an ATV with your companion, with your guide leading the way and adjusting the pace for beginners and experienced riders alike.

The tour is available as a 2-hour or 3-hour ride, giving you a shorter or longer time on the trails depending on your schedule. Along the way there is time to take in the scenery and, on the longer route, a chance to warm up and rest partway through the ride.

Adventure and Flexibility

All tours run as private experiences, with one ATV shared between two people. The 3-hour route can include a stop at a campfire for a traditional Arctic BBQ, and the same private format is also available as a night version focused on searching for the Northern Lights, though their appearance can never be guaranteed. Good thermal underclothing is recommended, as all other driving gear is provided.

Important Information:

  • Drivers must hold a valid car driving license (category B) and bring the physical license with them
  • Minimum age for drivers is 18
  • Not suitable for children under 4 years old
  • Not recommended for guests with back or heart conditions, or for pregnant travelers
  • Not wheelchair or stroller accessible
  • Pets are not allowed
  • The Northern Lights cannot be guaranteed on the night tour
  • Travel insurance is not included
