Skábma in Saariselkä is a private log villa for groups or families, offering comfort, quiet, and local style near the edge of Urho Kekkonen National Park. It is a peaceful base for relaxing stays in Lapland with space, privacy, and personal service.
Skábma is a premium log house located in Saariselkä, just steps from Urho Kekkonen National Park. Designed for one private group at a time, the house has seven bedrooms with their own bathrooms and space for up to 14 guests. The interiors feature Finnish design classics and large shared areas including a kitchen, dining room, lounge, and sauna. The upstairs Junior Suite has a bathtub and a balcony that opens to the surrounding nature. All rooms include a drying cabinet, hair dryer, and quiet comfort after time spent outdoors.
Breakfast is included each morning, and dinners can be arranged with a private chef who cooks local Lappish dishes in the house. Two saunas offer guests a chance to warm up and relax in the evenings. The house is managed by a local family, and the host Kaisu is available 24/7 but does not stay on site. With full privacy, easy access to nature, and a warm local welcome, Skábma is a calm and well-equipped retreat for families, friends, or work groups visiting Northern Lapland.
