Kelo Resort is a boutique hotel on the edge of Pallas–Yllästunturi National Park, offering modern Nordic-style hotel rooms and Kelo Sky Villas, a restaurant with panoramic views, and a quiet setting surrounded by nature.
Kelo Resort is located beside Pallas–Yllästunturi National Park, surrounded by open wilderness and clear northern skies. The resort offers newly renovated Superior Hotel Rooms of 19 m², designed in a warm Nordic style. Each room features twin or queen-size beds by Familon with premium mattress toppers, blackout curtains, air conditioning, an armchair, and a private bathroom with shower and toilet. Guests benefit from daily housekeeping, complimentary Wi-Fi, in-room tea and coffee, and Finnish natural cosmetics. A daily breakfast buffet with local specialties and freshly prepared à la carte options is included.
For a more private stay, the newly added Kelo Sky Villas offer a single-level, 35 m² layout with floor-to-ceiling windows facing the fells, ideal for couples, families, or small groups of up to four. Each villa includes a separate sleeping area with a king-size bed, a sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, a comfortable living space, and a private bathroom with shower and toilet, along with an air-source heat pump for year-round comfort. Breakfast, Wi-Fi, in-room tea and coffee, and natural toiletries by SEES are included with every stay.
Restaurant Jäkälä is the heart of the resort, serving dishes inspired by Lapland's traditions and seasonal ingredients, with large panoramic windows facing the national park. Half board and full board can be booked in advance, with half board including a three-course dinner chosen by the head chef, and full board also including a table-served lunch. For wellness, Kelo offers private sauna experiences, including a wood-heated sauna with lake views and a separate Arctic wellness option with an electric sauna, a cold plunge basin, and a bathtub for relaxing afterwards. Guests can also join an Aurora Workshop to learn the basics behind the northern lights and how to photograph them with a phone, with a hot drink and a sweet snack included.
