Brändön Lodge

Brändön Lodge is a small coastal property on the shore of Swedish Lapland, overlooking the frozen sea and the Luleå archipelago. It offers 15 two-bedroom cabins, a log cabin restaurant, and sauna and hot tub facilities with sea views, making it a relaxed base for exploring one of Scandinavia's most distinctive coastal landscapes.

Brändön Lodge sits on the coast of Swedish Lapland, within the Luleå archipelago, a vast coastal area of around 1,300 islands. The 15 cabins each include two bedrooms with single beds, a living room, a kitchenette with a microwave, coffee maker, and small fridge, a bathroom with shower and toilet, and a veranda facing the sea. The beds in one bedroom can be arranged as a double on request, and an extra bed in the living room is available for an additional charge. Each cabin sleeps up to four guests, with a fifth possible.

The log cabin restaurant is open year-round for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, offering a warm and characterful setting. Guests can also unwind in the outdoor sauna and hot tub on the terrace, both of which look out over the sea and are a natural spot for watching the northern lights in winter. In winter, the sea around the archipelago freezes to form a broad icescape that opens up the surrounding area for exploration on foot. In summer and autumn, the coastline and islands provide a scenic setting for time spent by the water.
