Snowhotel Kirkenes

Snowhotel Kirkenes is located in Finnmark and is open all year with 13 rooms built entirely from snow and ice. The rooms stay at a constant temperature of -4°C and come in double or family layouts for up to four people. Guests sleep in thermal sleeping bags and have access to showers, lockers, and restrooms in the main building. Breakfast and a three-course dinner at the on-site restaurant Låven are included, and a sauna, luggage service, and access to the husky and reindeer area are part of the stay. In winter, free snowshoes and skis are also available, as well as transfers from Kirkenes hotels or the harbor.

For those who prefer warmth, the Gamme Northern Light Cabins offer a more traditional stay inspired by Arctic wilderness huts. Each cabin has modern comforts and is available throughout the year, with options that include or exclude meals depending on the season.
