You'll land in Rovaniemi and collect your rental car before making your way to Pyhä, around an hour and a half drive through quiet winter forest. Check into your private glass igloo, complete with a private sauna and jacuzzi, and settle in. Breakfast and dinner are delivered to the igloo each day as part of your half board catering, so the evening is yours to spend in complete privacy.

Reindeer and a Quiet Evening

After breakfast delivered to the igloo, head out for a group reindeer farm visit, with a guided sleigh ride and time spent with the herd. Hot drinks are included. The afternoon is free to explore the fell trails on foot or simply take in the landscape at your own pace before dinner arrives.

Out on the Ice

Head out for a group ice fishing session on a frozen lake, with your guide setting you up with the gear and walking you through the technique. Hot drinks are included. With the afternoon free and the car at your disposal, it is a good opportunity to drive into Rovaniemi, around an hour and a half away, to browse the shops, visit the Arktikum museum on the riverbank, or have lunch in town before heading back.

Korouoma at Your Own Pace

Take the rental car and drive to Korouoma Canyon, one of the most striking winter landscapes in Finnish Lapland. The frozen waterfalls are accessible on foot from the parking area, and the route through the canyon is well marked. It is a self-guided visit, so you can take as long as you like before heading back to Pyhä. Breakfast and dinner are delivered as usual.
