You'll land in Rovaniemi and collect your winter clothing before transferring to Aino Private Island Hotel, crossing the suspension bridge onto a river island in the Kemijoki. Weather permitting, a private northern lights hunt follows dinner, heading out beyond the city lights in search of clear skies, with warm drinks and snacks included along the way.

Reindeer, Ice, and an Island Evening

The morning takes the group to a private reindeer farm visit, with a guided sleigh ride and a soup lunch by the fire. In the afternoon, head to the Arctic SnowHotel for an independent visit, exploring the sculpted ice rooms and corridors at your own pace. Back on the island in the evening, dinner is served at Vuo Restaurant before a private sauna and jacuzzi session by the river, a quiet and restorative way to end the day.

A Full Day in the Arctic

The morning starts with a private guided hike through the Arctic Circle Hiking Area around Vaattunki and Vikaköngäs, with warm drinks and a snack included along the trail. After the hike, the group heads out for a private 10km husky safari through the surrounding forest, followed by a private snowmobile safari through the winter landscape. Before returning to the hotel for dinner, there is time for a relaxed stop at Santa Claus Village, just a short drive away, to explore the Arctic Circle and browse the village at your own pace.
